The combined AUM is roughly $252.7 million, a mid-tier figure in a market where Bitcoin and Ether ETFs still absorb the institutional appetite. The staking ratios matter because ETF flows do not exist in a vacuum. Authorized participants create and redeem shares. When an investor redeems, the AP receives HYPE and typically sells it into a spot market. If that spot market is thin, one large redemption moves price. If the AP hedges by shorting HYPE futures first, the price impact can outrun the reported flow itself. That mechanism is the structural core of this entire story. The second core issue is the mechanics of ETF share creation and redemption. And because the staked float is so small, the acceleration path is shorter than anyone will have modeled. Takeaway: The First Stress Test The most important metric is not next week's flow number. It is the first large unlock event that overlaps with a continuous redemption cycle. When those two forces collide, the staked tokens move from a narrative of scarcity into a reality of supply.
